Moonkick is a daily football quiz for iPhone. It is built to need as little about you as possible: no email and no precise location. The free version shows one short ad a day after your flight (and an optional video for a streak freeze); a one-time purchase removes the daily ad.
The data controller is Hans Jørgen Torp, the developer of Moonkick. Contact: hj@trenullfem.no.
We do not collect your email, contacts or photos. The only sign-in is Sign in with Apple.
Ads are served by Google AdMob. When the app first opens, you're asked whether Google and its partners may use your data for ads (the consent form required in the EEA), and then iOS asks whether the app may track you. If you say no, you still get ads, but they aren't personalised. AdMob may process your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), your IP address, coarse location derived from it, and how you interact with ads. We never send AdMob your answers, flights, name or nationality. You can change your choice any time in the app: Menu → Ad privacy choices. Buying "Remove ads" stops the daily ad; the purchase itself is handled by Apple, and we only learn that it happened.
The legal basis is that this is needed to provide the game you ask to play (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and improving it (Article 6(1)(f)), and, for personalised ads, your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
For every question we keep running totals of how many players gave each answer. These totals contain no player ID and stay after you delete your data, because they no longer relate to you.
Game data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, in its Stockholm (EU) region. This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Ads are served by Google AdMob as described above, and purchases are handled by Apple. We don't sell your data.
Your account, name, nationality and flights are kept until you delete them. Uninstalling the app does not delete them from our server, so use the button below or email us.
In the app, open the menu and tap Delete my data. This deletes your account, name, nationality and every flight from our server straight away, and resets the app on your phone. You can also email hj@trenullfem.no. You can also stop Moonkick using your Apple ID in your iPhone's Settings → Apple Account → Sign in with Apple.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to receive it in a portable format. Email us to use any of these, and tell us your player name so we can find your data. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
Moonkick does not ask for anyone's real name, email, age or location. The data stored is the account, player name, nationality and gameplay described above.
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
